Doug Parcells Athletic Complex & Playground (DPAC)

Located at 900 E. Ridgewood Avenue, this complex is adjacent to the Oradell Swim Club. It features the Elizabeth Hagler Children’s playground, a multi-purpose athletic field with synthetic turf, and wooded paths. The athletic field is versatile, accommodating sports like baseball, softball, soccer, football, and lacrosse. It’s a popular spot for local sports leagues and community events.

Grant Field & Playground

Situated at 356 Ronald Court, this park includes two baseball diamonds, a basketball court, and a children’s playground. Hoffman Field & Playground

Also known as Rossi Memorial Park, Hoffman Field is located at Kinderkamack Road and Waite Place. The park features a lighted basketball court, a children’s playground, and a baseball field. It is dedicated to Major Marie Rossi, an Oradell resident who died in the Persian Gulf War, and includes a memorial in her honor. The park’s terraces and rows of trees create a serene and family-friendly environment.

Memorial Field & Playground / C.W. Coach Muehleck Little League Field

Located between Park Avenue and Oradell Avenue, across from Oradell Public School, Memorial Field offers a comprehensive set of facilities. It includes a playground, soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, two lighted ice skating ponds, and wooded groves. The field is also home to the C.W. Coach Muehleck Little League field and a memorial commemorating Oradell’s military personnel.

Schirra Park

Named after astronaut Walter M. Schirra, Jr., this small park is located in the center of Oradell on Kinderkamack Road. It features a gazebo, benches, a flagpole, and a plaque honoring Schirra, the only astronaut to fly in three U.S. space missions. The park serves as a venue for various civic events and ceremonies throughout the year.

Van Buskirk Island County Park

This man-made island, created when the Hackensack River was dammed in the 19th century, is home to diverse bird species and historical buildings from the Hackensack Water Works treatment plant. The park offers a serene environment for bird watching and exploring nature. The Van Buskirk Island Paddling Center provides opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding along the calm waters of the Hackensack River.
